Südzucker Polska S.A. Management Board changes
On the 30th November 2011 Supervisory Board of Südzucker Polska S.A. decided to change the structure of the company’s Management Board. Previous Management Board comprising of 4 members was reduced to 2 members: current member of the board - Piotr Chrobot and Marek Wójcik who was appointed as a member on the 1st January 2012. Dr. Rainer Schechter, Norbert Bücherl and Adam Sebzda left the Management Board.
Dr. Rainer Schechter arrived in Poland in 2000, in 2003 was appointed as a member of the board and in 2007 became the Speaker of the Board. Norbert Bücherl joined Südzucker Polska S.A. structure in 1997, taking up function of a member of the board in 2003. Adam Sebzda was performing a function of a President of Management Board of Śląska Spółka Cukrowa S.A., in 2003 he was appointed as a member of Südzucker Polska S.A Management Board - he was responsible for restructuring, IT and HR. Dr. Rainer Schechter and Norbert Bücherl are coming back to the parent company - Südzucker AG in Germany where they will take up new appointments.
Piotr Chrobot has been in Südzucker Polska S.A. structure since 2004 then was appointed as a member of the board in 2007 and was responsible for the company finances. From now on he will take over sales, marketing, PR, quality management and IT. Piotr Chrobot is a graduate of Warsaw School of Economics. In private life he is a fan of high-mountain climbing and sea sailing. His hobby is an alternative cinematography and photography. He is married and has two children.
Marek Wójcik has been connected with sugar industry since 1984, he has been in Südzucker Polska S.A structure since 1999. For many years he was a director-general of Cukrownia Cerekiew sugar plant. As a member of the board of Südzucker Polska S.A. he is responsible for raw materials, technology and production, investments, bio-energy and HR. Marek Wójcik is a graduate of Chemical and Process Engineering Faculty in Warsaw University of Technology. His hobby is historical literature, international cuisine and attending cultural events. He is married and has one son.
